Failure to fetch both Sources.gz and Packages.gz

Bug Description

All-knowing ones:

Upon executing in terminal "sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gdm2setup/gdm2setup" and "sudo apt-get update"

the following message appears in Terminal:

W: Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/gdm2setup/gdm2setup/ubuntu/dists/maverick/main/binary-i386/Packages.gz 404 Not Found

E: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

Any enlightened ones out there who can help resolve this issue?

I checked the distros available (http://ppa.launchpad.net/gdm2setup/gdm2setup/ubuntu/dists/) and it seems to stop at Lucid. There are no packages for anything newer that is why it fails. Did the development stop? I checked synaptic and it is not in the repositories.
