error in customizing Grub

Bug Description
I wanted to modify the Grub Menu, according to a new order of entries and reducing the default time lapse.
The system stops while compilating for updating Grub with an error.
Attached are the present grub.cfg, the new grub.cfg.new to be compiled, and the screenshot of the error warning.
I am running Linux Mint 17.1 64bit Cinnamon on a Dell Latitude D920, with the corresponding grub.
