Kevin, Mark has run into a similar issue where you get strange error handling if libradsec generates an error. I asked to be assigned the bug to explain that issue and mark as a duplicate of the appropriate moonshot bug. However, from your description it doesn't sound like this is the issue you're seeing. Can you confirm that you're still seeing this? If so, what do you mean by returns success?
