Bug Description
We should implement a custom addressbook type for desktopcouch, instead of trying to keep the entries in sync between desktopcouch and the Thunderbird addressbook. Kind of like Evolution does, or the MacOS Addressbook for Thunderbird.

Absolutely. And if at all possible, it should reuse the contact database that Evolution and Akonadi uses.
