Bug Description

If it serves a greater audience, would it be beneficial to allow the selection of more criteria when assigning a transaction category, as well as more fields to set if conditions are met? Example: if the transaction is an expense from a fast food store, then it is categorized as food. However if it is income from the same store, then I can mark it as a Paycheck.

Other conditions besides Memo/Payee could be:
- income or expense
- Account it appears in
- Tag to apply

There may be more use cases I do not have, but perhaps the user community could post other suggestions.

Thank you.

I was going to request something like this if it didn't already exist.

I use a category structure of WHY:WHAT. So, for example, The what of 'travel' could appear under several different 'why' categories. This structure lets me easily see what caused me to spend money.

Unfortunately, it's not a structure that makes it easy to use the assignments, which have a built in assumption that the same memo or payee must mean the money gets assigned to the same category.

Adding more flexibility in the selection criteria would, hopefully, make it possible for me to use assignments more fully. Unfortunately, I'd need day of the week, payee, and probably some other items.

I have a feeling this might be too big a change for what might be something a minority of people might do, but I thought it would be useful to mention how I'm using Homebank to add another use case to this request.

I'm happy to put a bit more thought into what I'd need if it would be helpful.
