Bug Description

Hello,
I can't install HPLIP 3.10.6 on Fedora 12. When I run install script the installation process is stopped during root logging. It says:
"Please enter the root/superuser password: "
and when I put in my root password, it says:
"\error: No output seen in over 300 sec... (Is the CD-ROM/DVD source repository enabled? It shouldn't be!)
Password incorrect. 2 attempt(s) left."

The password I put into is correct.
BTW. Deskjet 5150 doesn't work with Fedora 12 standard drivers (I have cups and foomatic).
Any help will be appreciate.
Best regards,
Piotr Komorowski

Hello,
Here is the output of

sh hplip-3.10.6.run -- -g

(please look at attachment1: installing-hplip.txt).

BTW. In a meantime I have installed hplip-3.10.6 from the yum.
Unfortunattely it didn't solve my problems with hp printers (I have
DeskJet 5150 and LaserJet 1010).
I can't print anything. Some time age everything worked without
problems, but now I got messages like:
"/usr/lib/cups/filter/hpcups failed" (please look at attachment2:
cups-error.log)
I am sorry for my chaotic style :)
Thank you for your help,
Best regards,
Piotr
