In current trunk
To reproduce:
- Change unit to mm
- Check one of the buttons in the snap toolbar
-> Unit revert to px

Not limited to trunk: on OS X 10.7.4, with default preferences:
- not reproduced with Inkscape 0.47 and 0.48.0
- reproduced with Inkscape 0.48.1, 0.48.2, 0.48.3.1 and all trunk builds
-> regression introduced with changes which had been backported to 0.48.x between r9654 and r9760.
Affects all unit selectors on tool controls bars, but not those in dialogs like for example in 'Fill & Stroke > Stroke Style': the unit selectors on tool controls bar are reverted to document default units (not necessarily 'px') when changing one of the snap options on the snap controls bar.
