In outline mode - selecting still uses the original line size

Bug Description
In outline mode, using the node tool (F2) it is difficult to make a box for marking nodes if the objet uses a big line. (zoom max)
the curser has to be very far out to draw a box. Inscape crashes sometimes if the curser grapes the "line" instead drawing a box in free space.
the line thickness should not be usable in outline mode becourse you can't see it.
Windows version, german, windows 7, 0.48.4. Using Wacom intuos4 tablet (compatibility mode 1024 resolution)

It only has the problem if you have a object selected and there are many object below or above it! Node Tool on.
