Bug Description

Every time Inkscape closes when running on a windows machine it creates a file called .recently-used.xbel in the users folder.

This file should be moved to the much more appropriate "%userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\inkscape" folder or at the very least should be hidden from view.

Note that this file is not private to inkscape - it is managed by the GTK+ stack, and usually shared with other GTK+ applications installed on the local system (e.g. GIMP).
