Font Dialog does not auto-apply changes to the drawing

Bug Description

The Text and Font dialog still retains the old dialog behaviour of having to apply changes with a button (the Apply button)

This is confusing to the user, as every other dialog live updates when fields are changed, and do not have an apply button.

I don't think it's confusing and regarding dialogs, most extensions (which have dialogs) don't actually apply changes immediately and they have a preview option. That dialog has a preview area and pretty much all of those controls exist in the text tool controls bar now, so if you want to actually modify the text while experimenting it makes more sense to just use that on-canvas tool (we support two different workflows as it stands).

Related discussion on #irc was about the current inconsistency in trunk how options in the dialog are updated:
- All text formatting are only applied when clicking on 'Apply'
- New text offset (for 'Text put on Path') does apply immediately on-canvas

This inconsistency lead to some confusion when trying to describe the new feature for text-on-path (without screenshot or screencast).
