Bug Description
I have the latest version of inkscape for Mac and am running it on OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard).
When I group a set of objects and text, copy and paste them, I am unable to ungroup them again to make changes to individual objects.
Same underlying issue as bug #1273066: known conflict between XQuartz and vector applications like Inkscape and Fontforge which causes vector information to be copy&pasted as bitmap images. A workaround is described in the FAQ: wiki.inkscape. org/wiki/ index.php/ FAQ#Copying_ and_pasting_ in_Inkscape_ creates_ pixellated_ images_ instead_ of_copying_ the_vector_ objects> /bugs.launchpad .net/inkscape/ +bug/307005/ +attachment/ 1760181/ +files/ X11-pasteboard- preferences. png>

The changes take effect immediately (no need to restart X11/XQuartz or Inkscape, however, earlier copy&pasted objects have to be redone (if the original vector version still exists).
