Bug Description

whenever i want to import image file, inkscape crashed and shut down

I use ubuntu 12.04

Based on the screenshot you are using Inkscape 0.48+devel i.e. unstable inkscape trunk, installed from the PPA (stable Inkscape 0.48 has no measure tool in the toolbox).

Please update to the latest available package (r12988) and try again whether crash still occurs (it should have been fixed in r12984).

Likely a duplicate of bug #1272649.

already install from PPA and problem solved
