Bug Description
When I copy and paste an object that has a Fill and Stroke opacity level below 100%, the opacity of the pasted copy is often significantly less than the original. It seems like there's some kind of multiplicative effect going on, like the opacity of the pasted copy is being multiplied by the opacity of the original, or the Fill and Stroke opacity is being set to the opacity of the layer, or something. This seems to happen when I have the original on a layer that is also set for less than 100% opacity, but I'm unable to reproduce the bug with certainty.
I'm using Inkscape 0.48.3.1 r9886 on Linux Mint 14. This error occurs with all documents.
