Bug Description
On trunk Inkscape (r13805) on Trisquel 7.0:
1. Open the text tool
2. Click anywhere and start typing
Eventually, after around five seconds, Inkscape freezes.
Unsetting GTK_IM_MODULE fixes the problem, which is due to the usage of xim there instead.
