Object rotation for start center is randomly lost when edit star

Inkscape 0.48, 091, Windows 8 64 bit

1. Create star with 3 corners
2. Snap from item's rotation center
3. Drag 2 guides - vertical and horizontal
4. Move the star to the guides cross for snap to note where the rotation center is located (at the center of the star star)
5. Edit star adjusting tip radius and base radius by mouse
6. Move the star across the working area again to the guides cross for snap
7 Note, that rotation center has moved so some other place of the star, so it is lost.

So there is no way to center star at the exact position after editing.
