Bug Description
Would be useful to have thousandths of an inch (mil or thou) as a finer unit of measurement for imperial similar to how there is mm and cm as finer units of measure for m.

Are you asking for more decimal places for various spinboxes, e.g. X, Y, Height, and Width fields on Selection tool control bar? Because those already have 3 decimal places. (When units are change to inches, the 3rd place is thousandths.)
Or are you talking about the Measurement tool display? Or something else?
(Not that I could ever actually help with programming, but just to clarify what you want, and just my curiosity.)
