No way to add inline graphics into text in Inkscape

Bug Description

I don't know if there is a way to do that in SVG.

In any word processor you can add a bitmap image at a precise place controlled by the text.

In DTP programs you can add bitmap images as "inline graphics"

In Freehand, already a long time ago, it was possible to cut or copy a vector object and paste it at any place inside text, even in text on path. This object can be changed then as any character in the text :
