Wrong Inkscape Window Opens when Group is Selected

Did you use a 32-bit or 64-bit Inkscape package?

I used 64 bit package on 64 bit machine.

Not been able to replicate yet, but it happened again a couple of days ago

The same also happens with a selction of objects, not only groups.

I have a selection of objects I want to copy from document 1 to document 2. If I select document 2 (to paste the selection) Inkscape goes back to document 1

I tried something: opened 2 more documents. Selecting them returns either one of the other documents except document no. 4.

I also found what triggered it. I had XMTL editor and Document Setting open as floating menus. Once I closed these menu's the problem disapeared.

Opening then one floating menu again everyting is still ok. But when I open a second floating menu in another document the problem comes back. It does not matter if the menus are the same or if different menus are selected.

However, when I open two floating menus in one document the problem does NOT happen.

Then I tried three open menu's (preferences, document settings and XTML editor). Now the situation deteriorates. The problem occurs now also even with one floating menu. Closing this floating single menu still makes the problem go away.

The next and previous window from the view menu are not affected.
