Bug Description
When setting end markers to lines I observe strange behaviour:
a) The desired marker has to be selected two times before the change takes effect.
b) The marker is selected, the end node is changed accordingly, but the visual representation of the marker in the pull down menu of the markers shows blank
c) Setting end markers for more then one selected line did not work anymore, which normally is possible
d) The Inkscape instant in which this happened became unstable shortly after this.
I enclosed a file in which this happened. I stripped this file from information from my client, but the file still showed this behaviour.
System set up:
Windows 7 Ultimate Service Pack 1 64 bits
Inkscape Inkscape 0.91 r13725 64 bits
Not sure if it has anything to do with it but I use a wacom graphic tablet.

Additional info:
I luckily saved the original file. When I continued with it setting the end markers, inkscape was slowed down, showing the windows waiting circle each time I selected a different object.
Also the pull down menu for the end markers did not show the original listing of end markers but it repeated many similar markers along with some others, see attached screen print.
