Feature request: 'Create tile outline..'

Currently when creating a dotted line around a rectangle or rectiliner "tile" and a dotted or dashed line style is used, a dot doesn't necessairly appear at the true corners of the rectangle.

This I think is a limitation of SVG 1.1.

I would like to request a script that converts or creates a 'dotted' tile based on the bounding box of a 'selection', where the 'corner' dots center are the precise corners of the box.

I am currently using Inkscape 0.91 on Windows XP.
