Easy UI method to reset/manage preferences

Bug Description
It would be handy to have a very user friendly method to reset preferences in the GUI. To make this more useful overall, it be nice to be able to backup and restore preferences as well.
These things could make it much easier to help troubleshoot with casual users and people that are not familiar with navigating their filesystem. It would also be beneficial for people who have a preferred UI setup to create a personal default preferences file that they could easily restore (or easily apply to other systems/
It would also seem fitting to add a new category in the preferences dialog under "Spellcheck" for "Preferences Management" to house these functions.
I'm also wondering if every preferences page might benefit from having a reset to default button for just that page (however that might merit a separate report). I'm just thinking along the lines for how we allow that for each tool.
