Better positioning of labels for measurement tool

Bug Description

Sometimes the "measurement lines" are covered by the measurement label in the measurement tool. It would be good if the labels with the numbers would flip to the other side of the "measurement lines".
See the attached example.

Two questions:
How to handle if some lavels are overalping in one position and others labels overlap in the other?
How handle label overlap in both positions?

Sorry, I don't know, but some function that finds some empty space near a given point might be useful. I don't know how other software does it, but "fontforge" is a tool with similar (maybe more primitive) capabilities. Maybe you want to have a look how it is done there.

Measure need to be in the middle of the measure segment you need to go far away from the draw and maybe go to hidden areas or finaly overlap. Also the calculation can reduce significaly the speed of the measure, what is worst.
