Win32: Exporting to .jpeg

Bug Description

Hello, it seems that pretty much every browser these days only reads
jpeg, gif and sometimes pngs. (Yes I know adobe has a mozilla plugin
for svg now - but people generally don't like having to get a plugin,
especially the win* fans). Could one of you try for jpeg export at all ?

The Import command supports all of the bitmap formats that
are covered with GdkPixbuf (PNG, JPEG, TIFF, TGA, BMP and
more).

I would have sworn Inkscape could already export to JPEG but
I dont have a working build in front of me to double check.
If you cannot export to JPEG is suspect you might just have
a bug, I think some of the windows nightly builds had
problems for a while that have been resolved.
Please do check out Inkscape 0.39

I double checked and your right
with the latest version of Inkscape for windows I just
cannot export to Jpeg which is really odd considering
Inkscape is already using GDKPixbuf and therefore already
has everything that is needed to export to Jpeg.
Inkscape really should be able to export to all the formats
that are supported by GDKpixbuf

0.42pre2 still can't export as JPEG.
neither the export dialog nor the file selector does not
allow to select the file type from a list and when manually
typing .jpg at the end of the file name it is saved as PNG
with only a .jpg name

That strikes me as a horrible way of looking at the problem
and it worries me that a developer might think fixing the
dialog just to understand file extensions, which would be
horribly difficult to disover. I will check the other
report later and may reopen this one if it is too vague.
Failing that could someone copy any and all relevant
comments from this report to that one.
