Align nodes to center or average

Bug Description

A useful feature would be to align selected nodes to
the center or average rather than only to the position
of the first selected node (which is the way it works
now). For instance selecting two nodes and aligning
them to their center horizontally would move them both
to a height midway from one point's height to the others.

I think the solution to this would be to implement the same
combobox that align/distribute uses for objects. The one
that lets you choose what it's relative to (and if we don't
have options for "average" or "median" then we may look into
those as well).

Linking as duplicate to bug #171287 “Align dialog should have "Relative to" for nodes, too” because that request asks for multiple options for aligning nodes including 'relative to horizontal/vertical center of set'.

Please add a comment and revert the duplicate status if you don't agree and think these feature requests should be discussed in separate reports.
