Bug Description

The built-in XML editor has the potential to be a good
object browser.

(not replace, but in addition to the XML editor)

"Add Element Node" could become 2 buttons:
    "Add Object or Group"
    "Add Description to Object or Group"

"Add Text Node" could become "Add Text to Object, Group
or Description"

The attributes panel would be the basis of an advanced
Properties dialog.

Would this be fixed with 0.92? There's the Objects dialog, see Release notes: http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/Release_notes/0.92#Manipulating_Objects
