Bug Description

Hello,

I'm using VERSAWORKS roland rip software.
It reads the eps from inkscape.
The eps is with RGB values.

There is always a problem with the color conversion.
It helps a lot if the EPS off inkscape is in CMYK values. Then it is not so
difficult to make the color in the printer the same as you uses the color
in inkscape

Regards
Jim Meijer

I think this is the general problem, that SVG and hence Inkscape don't
support CMYK :(
Really CMYK is needed soo much. But SVG print has not been worked on since
2003. So maybe it's time to take the draft and work with it, making it the
de facto SVG standard?

Hello,

I hope that there is a programmer from inkscape, that he is realising if
inkscape really won't to be a great drawing program, also for the
professionel market it has to coop with CMYK. For me it is essentional. I
have a Spotcolor conversion in my RIP software to translate RGB into CMTK.

Maybe in the future then ?

regards
Jim
