Bug Description

I would love a macro recorder that could save and play back macros. I was
performing a lengthy set of actions to objects in several different files
earlier today. The repetitive actions were becoming rather tedious.

Maybe the macro could be saved as an effect and added to the Effects menu.

It would be amazing to have such feature inside inkscape. Because by doing this we could exchange the macro files and learn how a specific drawing was done. Or some specific thing. This would be amazing and it could be used, once it's developed, to even exemplify / show lessons from the tutorial. :-)

In which language would this be made?
