Inkscape crashes when I select print preferences

Windows 10 Pro x64
Intel Xeon CPU E5-2603 v2

Select File>Print, then in the Print dialogue, select >Preferences.

That's all. Inkscape crashes. Well, specifically, it closes.

The first time, I got a message from Windows saying something like "Windows has encountered a problem and will now close this program. You will be notified if a solution is found." On subsequent attempts, the program just closes with no message.

The printer is an HP Laser Jet Pro M402n.
NOTE: Printing doesn't work either. In the Print dialogue, when I select Print, the dialogue closes but nothing prints. Printing works fine with other programs. Should I report this as a separate bug? It is probably related, but for now I'm just reporting the crash. I mention the failure to print just as possibly relevant additional information.

This is a fresh installation with the .msi installer. No version of Inkscape has been previously installed on this system. The crash occurred with the attached file, which is the first file I opened after installing. I also created a random drawing, and the same thing happens with that. Every time.
