It would be useful if there was a toggleable feature to temporarily bring the selected objects to front. That way, it would be easier to edit objects that are obstructed by other objects. Maybe even something like raise-on-hover would work nicely.
For a default keyboard shortcut, Caps Lock or Scroll Lock would be ideal, since it's not really used apart from rare cases of uppercase text entry, and the user would instantly have feedback from the keyboard LED about the status of the toggle. |
It would be useful if there was a toggleable feature to temporarily bring the selected objects to front. When the toggle is on, selected objects are automatically brought to front. Once the toggle is off, any objects that have been raised return to their original Z position. That way, it would be easier to edit objects that are obstructed by other objects. Maybe even something like raise-on-hover would work nicely.
