Bug Description

Hello,

If I copy (Ctrl+c) group id: "capa paz", inside group id: capas, inkscape immediately crashes. It is the group with the "PAZ" label.

This svg has more problems with inkscape, specially while exporting to PDF. Only group id: "capa paz" really appears but even that partially. All other images are missing.

Stoke line used in borders are shown as simple lines, but this is a minor issue.

I tested with Inkscape 0.92.3 (2405546, 2018-03-11), both in ubuntu 18.04 and opensuse tumbleeed 20181119.

Can't reproduce the crash on copy. I can reproduce the missing objects in the pdf. Removing all masks from the drawing (Ctrl+A, Ctrl+Shift+U until there are no more groups, then Ctrl+A, then Object > Mask > Release) fixes the problem.

I gather you imported this from a pdf?
Whenever you can, try to avoid roundtrips via pdf.

(The mask+pdf issue is known)

Can you run Inkscape from the command line and post the output when it crashes?

No, I didn't import it from PDF. I created the file from scratch.
What do you mean by roundtrip in inkscape?

I just tried it again and now I cannot reproduce it. At the time, it was not a "once thing". It was always reproducible. Maybe something was interacting with my clipboard was messing with inkscape. BTW, I'm using (X)wayland.

If there is already an open bug for mask+pdf exporting limitation, this bug can be closed as duplicated.

Those kinds of masks typically appear when an object is exported to pdf, and then imported again. They do not appear on their own. Have you added them yourself?

It may be that you accidentally saved as or opened the file as pdf.

It's good that it's not crashing anymore, let's hope it will stay that way... If it reappears, you can create a new report for it anytime.

I'm think that the mask/pdf export issue has been reported multiple times, even. One of them is here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/427540
