Bug Description
I created two PDFs with a circle and a crossed square, starting from another application passing through postscript: I printed in a dummy postscript printer (to file) asking to "fit to page".
If you start Inkscape, open one file, open the second, select the object in the second and paste back to the first, the object is pasted bigger than the original.
Sometimes, when pasting objects I get a PNG instead.
Inkscape 0.46+devel, revision 20101, built Oct 29 2008
Windows XP SP3, Pentium 4 3,2GHz, 2 GB RAM.

The size (position, skew) problem is related to layer having transformations applied. To get over this, ungroup the layer-group. (this does not mean this is less a bug)
