Inkscape 0.47 (inkscape - 0.47~pre0-0ubuntu1~9.04) don't copy and past

cannot reproduce this on Windows XP, Inkscape 0.47 pre0.
could you attach a sample svg file with an object you would like to copy and paste?

This is with some text and a path. I can't copy both.

Is not working also with imported bitmap images.

Is not workink even if i try with ctrl-c and ctrl-v and if i try with contextual menu copy and paste and if I try with the main edit menu.

- any similarity to bug #381301? that was not fixed but disappeared after a reboot.
- clipboard manager involved that might interfere?
- did it work with earlier builds/releases on your system?

I upgraded from inkscape 0.46 from the ubuntu repo with inkscape-testing ppa.
I never could copy and paste in this version.

No, bug #381301 is different, inkscape don't crash and I have restarted twice.

On clipboard manager (default in jaunty) there's nothing copied.

It worked until yesterday when I upgraded from 0.46

what about bug #312286 (I realize it's about earlier devel builds)?
Can you disable/configure the clipboard manager?
any console log messages?
other changes on your system since yesterday? (like updated dependencies, new packages installed?)

Parcellite made that bug. I disabled and now it started to copy again.
Sorry again, there is that bug tracked on Parcellite bugs? Is very annoying.

thanks for reporting back the link to the parcellite bug report. No need to be sorry - that's what the bug tracker is for IMHO, and good to know there's a work around and maybe a fix for your problem!

I'll mark this bug as duplicate of bug #312286 - please add a comment and revert the status if you don't agree or have new insights that this bug needs to be fixed in inkscape as well.
