Crashes after pasting

Did you change the X11/Pasteboard settings as recommended in the FAQ <http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/FAQ#Copying_and_pasting_in_Inkscape_creates_pixellated_images_instead_of_copying_the_vector_objects>

If not - do those settings prevent further crashes if you copy&paste inside Inkscape?

(usually these type of crashes are a combination of two issues: 1) pasting as bitmap images instead of vector data (see FAQ item above) requires writing the bitmap image to disk, default location is $HOME or possibly inside the application bundle. 2) if these pasted images can't be written - e.g. because the folder is 'Read only' - Inkscape crashes)
