Solved.

Was not a problem of flowed text, as what appeared as text in the old file was line paths (converted from text).
The black box was hidden and unselectable, also with Edit, Find, ID='flowRoot' method.
The symptoms are really the same as with flowed text.

Anyway, I modified the file, copying&pasting all to a new file, but the line path (converted from text).
Then I added normal text (taking care not create flowed), and worked. I already updated image on Wikipedia.

The problem was a single empty 'Flowed Text' object (id 'flowRoot3833') in <root> which is rendered as black rectangle in other SVG viewers (like web browsers) and is not visible nor selectable in Inkscape (as described in bug #485269):
