Pencil and Bezier from Clipboard option doesn't work on Mac OS X

Bug Description

Create a path and copy it (right click copy and keyboard shortcuts attempted).

Select the pencil or bezier tool and set shape to use From clipboard.

Draw at bit. The message nothing on clipboard appears and the feature doesn't work.

I've done this on the Win build of the same version with no troubles.

Did you change the settings for the X11 pasteboard as described in the FAQ [1]?

I altered the x11 preferences and the problem has been taken care of, thanks for the help.

Thank you for reporting back - I'll link your report as duplicate to bug #307005: using a shape from the clipboard for the pencil and pen tool, or for other path effects in the 'Path Effect Editor…', fails if the clipboard returns a bitmap copy of the original vector object.

Please add a comment here and revert the duplicate status if you don't agree and think these are different issues with the system clipboard.
