Import icons with multiple resolutions and colors

I just noticet I can drag icon (*.ico) files from Windows Explorer into Inkscape.

The problem is that Inkscape does not import the image that have highest resolutions and colors.

I doesn't import icons very often, so I can go around and extract icons with other programs and save the image format as PNG instead.

However, it would be nice if import of multiple image files where treated the same way as dragging in multiple image files. That is - all formats would be placed on canvas, and user just deletes those he doesn't need.
