[Summary]
Image: iotg-focal-desktop-20210813.img

Using a USB-C adapter, you can connect an external monitor using DP or HDMI. But when you try with this DUT, the monitor is not detected under Settings.

[Steps to reproduce]
Connect USB-3 adapter with HDMI and DP ports
Try the HDMI port then the DP port.

[Expected result]
Ubuntu should detect the monitor under Settings.

[Actual result]
Ubuntu fails to detect an external monitor.

Not all Type-C ports support DP alt mode, which is required for video output. Let's confirm with Intel for their hardware designs.
