Bug Description

As a user, I would like to be able to specify the network configuration I'd like to have on my baremetal instance. E.g. I want a node with 4 network interfaces, 2 of them will be a part of the portgroup, one will be a usual network interface, and the last one will be a trunk connected to 2 neutron networks. Also I would like to specify which neutron networks each one of them will be attached to. Then ironic will be able to select a node that satisfies this requirement (e.g. a node having 5 ports), and the information about desired network configuration will be passed to an instance via configdrive. Glance image metadata can be used to specify the network configuration.

I'm not sure I agree that the functionality outlined here would resolve bug 1405131, which was marked as a duplicate of this bug. From what I understand, this doesn't address the problem of mapping virtual ports to Ironic ports on physically separate networks.
