Command line 'hangs' on blank line after opening browser

Bug Description
After the browser is opened the terminal sits on a blank line until another key is pressed in the terminal. At which point it returns to the usual prompt.
This may indicate to the user that quickstart is still running or that it's hung if they don't hit another key in that window.

This is the default behavior of webbrowser.open when used with chrome/chromium.
The browser subprocess prints the "Created new window in existing browser session" to stdout.
