Kazam fails to choose correct PulseAudio input sources

Bug Description
I go to Kazam settings and choose correct devices to record from. but when I start the recording I see in Pavucontrol that Kazam input sorces are dropped to default values, not what I chose. If I turn on recording both from microphone and system sounds, both valuues in pavucontrol are the default inout device, if I change one of them to 'Monitor of...' than the system sounds are recorded correctly.

I experienced it in Ubuntu, ROSA, Manjaro, so it is probably a distribution-
