Bug Description
Binary package hint: amarok
Is this an AmaroK bug or KDE Windowing system bug?
With window focus setting set to "Focus Follows Mouse", AmaroK window does not gain focus when files are dragged and dropped to it (from Desktop or a file browser).
This can be annoying, if you e.g. press Del (to delete a song in AmaroK's playlist) after the d-n-d operation, only to find out that the Del -action is relayed to your Desktop or File Browser (e.g. Konqueror). The Del -action can then cause your files to be deleted or "moved to trash", with or without confirmation, according to your file removal settings.
After the d-n-d, when you further move mouse on the AmaroK window, it still doesn't get focus. Only when you move your mouse away from the AmaroK window and then back does the player gain focus.

According to KDE BTS at the linked KDE report 127836, this is "a window manager issue, afaict". I would add a remote bug watch for the new report at KDE, 130063, but Launchpad's lauout has been changed again, and am unable to find that option.
