Difficult to unsubscribe from a bug report

Bug Description

When I am logged in to Launchpad, I want an easy way to remove myself (or someone else, if I am the operator of the project) from a bug report.

Like just adding a "X" right to the name in the subscriber list would be nice and easy!

You can unsubscribe from a bug report from the "Unsubscribe" link in the "Actions" box. Did you notice this? Perhaps it should be more visible.

Can we get a priority raise on this please?

Users seem to get subscribed via duplicates, or gawd knows how, and can't get themselves off. And we can't get them off either. This raises their blood pressure, everyone else who gets their plaintive cries for unsubscription, and eventually... ours. ;-)

Note that this is not what this bug is about. This bug is about unsubscribing yourself when you are a direct subscriber using a nice UI.

What you're asking for is making exceptions to indirect subscriptions. That's definitely planned, but will most likely be tracked by a different bug.

Fixed months ago: the unsubscribe button is now right next to your name in the subscribers list. There are other bug reports (e.g. bug 289266) about making this even more visible.
