Bug Description

In git merge proposals such as https://code.launchpad.net/~canonical-sysadmins/canonical-is-firewalls/+git/layer-is-fwgen/+merge/299444 , the proposed and target branches are displayed without the git+ssh://git.launchpad.net prefix. This makes it more annoying to cut and paste branches to perform the merge.

Was just searching to see if this has been filed. I want to additionally note that the ":" between repo name and branch means that you can't do:

  $ git pull lp:<ctrl-v> <enter>

you have to go back and change that : to a space.

Maybe it would be quicker/easier to separately write instructions for how to merge the branch somewhere else on a MP's page.
