Bug Description

Just received email from mirror content checker about issues with our SSL Certificate.
I believe this is some kind of bug or something because we do not see any issues with SSL.

Following is a snippet of the log file above:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fri Sep 2 18:59:13 2022: Deleted MirrorDistroArchSeries of ubuntu kinetic amd64 main with url https://mirror.ihost.md/ubuntu/dists/kinetic/main/binary-amd64/Packages.gz because: Invalid SSL certificate when trying to probe mirror.ihost.md:443.
Fri Sep 2 18:59:13 2022: Deleted MirrorDistroArchSeries of ubuntu kinetic arm64 main with url https://mirror.ihost.md/ubuntu/dists/kinetic/main/binary-arm64/Packages.gz because: Invalid SSL certificate when trying to probe mirror.ihost.md:443.
Fri Sep 2 18:59:13 2022: Deleted MirrorDistroArchSeries of ubuntu kinetic i386 main with url https://mirror.ihost.md/ubuntu/dists/kinetic/main/binary-i386/Packages.gz because: Invalid SSL certificate when trying to probe mirror.ihost.md:443.

Could you please check everything on your side?

Thanks.

Hi,

This appears to have been a temporary issue which got resolved automatically. The mirror is listed at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+archivemirrors. So please let us know if you see any similar issues again.

This could have happened due to various reasons that might have caused the SSL certificate to be invalid temporarily. So please let us know if this happens again.

Hello guys.

So it happened again. We are getting errors for days now.
All files are OK and the mirror is syncing without any issues. We are using the mirror on our local Ubuntu Installations and we do not see any issues.
