Bug Description

Hi guys,

This bug might need to be split up, but it all comes from the one need.

I find myself visiting the milestone pages for 'launchpad' and 'launchpad-bazaar' a lot. The way I tend to do it is by typing 'edg' into my browser address bar and then hacking the URL. When I get to the milestone pages, I generally click sort on the two tables so I can easily find my bugs & specs.

What I'd really like is a page that I can bookmark that shows me the bugs & specs I have to do for this cycle. So this means:

1. A page that has just my tasks for this cycle.
2. The URL for the "current cycle" page shouldn't change when the cycle changes. I don't want to update my bookmarks when we go from 1.2.3 to 1.2.4.

This is part of my daily workflow and as such would be really useful to have.

Thanks,
jml

One way of doing this would be a "Group by:" option in bug searches. So for example you could look at all bugs assigned to you, grouped by milestone.

Changed in launchpad:
importance: Undecided → Medium
status: New → Confirmed

That would still need to somehow bring the current milestone into
prominence, ideally by not showing any of the others.

You have multiple current milestones: Launchpad 1.2.3, and Launchpad Bazaar Integration 1.2.3. Granted this is because Launchpad isn't using Launchpad projects properly, but even if we had a single Launchpad project, you also work on Bazaar itself and might sometimes have milestoned bugs there. And once you'd fixed all your bugs for current milestones, you could go straight on to those for upcoming milestones without having to wait for current milestones to pass.

I don't *really* have multiple milestones. The distinct Launchpad milestones are a lie, and any work that I do in Bazaar that I need to do for a Launchpad release will "Also affect" Launchpad.

I rarely ever go straight on to bugs in future milestones when I'm done with this one. I more often use the free time to do tasks that are not tracked in Launchpad (triage itself, experiments, admin etc), or to work bugs that aren't yet in any milestone.
