Product branch stats look bogus when there are both private and public branches

For me, https://code.launchpad.net/launchpad says "4 branches owned by 33 people and 1 team, 884 commits by 33 people in the last month"

Those four branches are the only public ones; they're contentless, abandoned, and have been there for almost three years now. They're owned by a total of two people.

I presume that the stats I'm seeing are a cached window into launchpad's private branches. It is mighty confusing if you don't know there are private branches.

I would give an example that ~launchpad could see, but I can't find another project with both private and public branches.
