Bug Description

When you are reporting a new report against, say malone, you get a list of possible duplicates. The actual bug information form is only show after stating that none of the listed bugs is a duplicate. However, if one clicks/unfolds one of the duplicates after the information form was unfolded, the information form will fold again and to the user it might appear as if the information gets lost. Naturally he panics and clicks the back button, which doesn't help really.

Anyway: please keep the user panic level below 1 :)

Once the information form was unfolded it should not be folded again, especially not when the user clicks on a possible duplicate for whatever reason (wanting to read up on it, accident). Also, it feels technically inconsistent that the dups stay unfolded until "No, I need to report a new bug" is clicked (that they get folded after that makes sense, and I suppose every user will understand that), but that the information form doesn't stay unfolded when selecting a dup.

I agree, that this is rather confusing.

It's actually pretty easy to fix, as follows:

 1. Remove lib/canonical/launchpad/javascript/bugs/filebug-dupefinder.js
lines 249-252 (which is where the collapsment happens.
 2. Update the windmill tests appropriately.
 3. Profit.

I'll happily sponsor anyone who wants to submit a patch for this.
