Bug Description
I would like to see the ability to search for bugs that are targeted for a specific Release/Series as an option in advanced search

I'll track this as a low priority request. Thanks. But did you also know you can go to the series bug page and search from there, i.e. bugs.launchpad.
Granted this limits to only series targeted bugs, and I suspect what you want is cross project/series searching.
