Missing "triangle" to open bug task on Natty (fglrx?)

Bug Description

I just upgraded from Maverick to Natty, and the bug-task triangle buttons disappeared in Firefox. They are still present in Chromium. See the attached screenshot.
Somebody mentioned that it might have to do with using fglrx instead of the radeon driver, but I would expect that to effect chromium as well.

Note that other decorators are also missing. The 'edit title' link is
missing, the edit "Duplicate" button and all of the side-bar icons are
missing.

This issue is definitely not affecting all Firefox users, as I am using Firefox on Natty and can see the triangles.

It only affects Firefox 4 on fglrx. The sprite image appears to be too large for it.

It could be. What is really weird is which icons show up and which ones
don't. For example the "edit" circle (yellow circle with gray
exclamation point) shows up next to "Launchpad Itself (circle)" and
Triaged, High, Unassigned. But the Green "Target to Milestone" plus does
not show up. And the "edit" circle *doesn't* show up next to the title,
or next to the Mark as duplicate line (at least for entries that are
already duplicates of other entries).

It seems very hit-and-miss what "edit" circles are shown. Though maybe
some of those are being displayed from a different source?

Try using Firebug on the various icons. In my tests all the sprites were missing, the non-sprites (eg. /@@/edit) were present.

It's probably an oversized image issue similar to the one that the nvidia blob ha(s|d), but in that case it just made rendering extremely slow.

Using Firebug the ones that are present are:
  <img class="editicon" alt="Edit" src="/@@/edit">
The ones that are missing are:
<a class="sprite bug-status-expand" onclick="return toggleFormVisibility('task919739')" href="https://bugs.launchpad.net/launchpad/+bug/783477/+editstatus"> &nbsp; </a>
<a class="yui3-editable_text-trigger sprite edit" title="" href="https://bugs.launchpad.net/launchpad/+bug/783477/+edit"></a>
<span class="sprite person"></span>

So yes, things that are referenced as "img" work, things that are referenced as "sprite" are missing.

Someone in the bzr sprint said that switching from fglrx to the regular radeon driver fixed it for them. But certainly FF4 is in the mix, since things look fine under Chromium here. I don't really feel like going back to non-accelerated compiz to test this out. (Though I'm *also* hitting the "compiz leaks memory until I restart Unity" bug.)
