Bug Description

The only place the ETag cache (etags_by_media_type) is invalidated is in the applyChanges method of EntryManipulatingResource, but I would expect that the values that influence the ETag value can be mutated in other situations. If so, a stale ETag could be reported.

Leonard explains that this cache is only used within a single request, so the problem is real, but not as bad as it could be.

Feel free to argue for a higher priority. :-)
